There are two ways of creating a new matter.
1. Push a report to a matter: More information is available in the knowledge base report article.
2. Standard matter creation: The form can be accessed by clicking "New Matter" on the sidebar menu or the "New Matter" blue action buttons on LEIAA.
In the standard matter creation, the user will have to fill in 5 tabs.
The first tab will require the user to fill in general matter information.
On the second tab, the user will add the investigation team to the matter and manage the user's matter permissions.
On the third tab, the user will create any tasks that need to be done and assign them to the investigation team.
On the fourth tab, the user will upload any documents for future consultation or evidence to be shown during scheduled interviews.
In the fifth and last stage, the user can schedule in-person or automated interviews with external individuals.
