Getting started - First steps as an Admin user

Authentication

After receiving your admin credentials, log in at https://your_leiaa_instance/login; this initiates the authentication flow. LEIAA will send a 2FA token to your email. If you do not receive it, please contact us.

After logging in, your session will remain active for 15 minutes of non-idle time.

User management

Assuming you are the first admin or one of the initial admin users, you might want to begin adding more users. Navigate to https://your_leiaa_instance/users or click the "Users" tab in the sidebar menu.

Users screen

On this page, you can view all current LEIAA users. If you wish to create additional users, click the "New User" blue action button at the top.

Please fill in all the required fields with accurate information. Note that when selecting the user role, it will either allow or disallow various accesses to LEIAA features.

After successfully creating a user, you will be prompted with a success modal. You can either add a new user or view the updated user list.

If you wish to edit or archive a user, please select the desired user and click the action button located at the top of the list.

Report settings

Every LEIAA instance comes with predefined default settings data, but all of these settings can be changed to meet your organization's needs by an Admin or Superuser.

Locate the "Reports" tab on the side menu or visit https://your_leiaa_instance/reports and then navigate to the Reporting Settings sub-menu.

In the settings tab, you can find a sub-side menu with various settings pages. Let's focus on "Workflow Management" first.

Here, you can assign a Matter Lead, Admin, or Superuser user to be automatically assigned to each matter stage. Additionally, you can change the duration in days for each stage.

Shifting our focus to the other sub-side menu entries, on these settings pages, you can modify the HTML text that non-LEIAA users will see on the whistleblower reporting feature pages (more information about this feature can be found in the Knowledge Base articles).
